Hi Folks!

Here is my first Tech review:

The HTC Shift! This little handy UMPC
runs Windows Vista, and the PDA software
Snap VUE. You can run your normal apps, like
with your regular laptop, and you have a PDA with
Cell Phone. What would you want more ?
Here some Specs (Wiki)

  • Dual Operating System
    • Microsoft Windows Vista Business 32-Bit (notebook mode)
    • SnapVUE (PDA mode)
  • Processor
    • Intel A110 Stealey CPU 800 MHz notebook mode, 400MHz PDA mode.
  • Memory and Storage
    • 1 GB RAM (notebook mode)
    • 64 MB RAM (PDA mode)
    • 40/60 GB HDD drive
    • SD card slot
  • Intel GMA 950 graphics
  • Communications
  • Display
    • Active TFT touchscreen, 16M colors
    • 800 x 480 pixels (Wide-VGA), 7 inches
    • QWERTY keyboard
    • Handwriting recognition
  • Fingerprint Recognition
  • Ringtones
    • Polyphonic, MP3
    • Vibration,Dual speakers
There is just one stupid thing: The price! I costs 13880 $ on Ebay!
But this thing is totally handy. No more big Laptop- Bags etc.

I think Phoning with the HTC Shift will be a bit difficult without headphones.

I will wirite more soon, but I have to do some more important stuff.

take care,

computec
